Learned counsel for the Union of India is directed to take notice and clearly state by way of affidavit hurdle, if any, in providing a small strip of land to widen the existing road from existing 10 feet to a width which would at least admit movement of fire brigade and ambulance.
2. Learned State counsel is also directed to take notice for the State of Tamil Nadu and inform how the layout was approved
without there being facility of sufficiently wide road.
3. Three weeks’ time is granted to the Union of India as well as the State to file their reply-affidavits.
