[08/09, 13:19] Sekarreporter: The Division Bench of the Madras High Court, comprising Hon’ble Justice S.M. Subramaniam and Hon’ble Justice C. Saravanan, today admitted the Original Side Appeal (O.S.A. No. 289 of 2025) filed by the “Junior Vikatan”magazine against the judgment dated February 4, 2025, passed by Hon’ble Justice A.A. Nakkiran in C.S. No. 252 of 2014. The Bench was further pleased to grant an *interim stay* on the operation of the impugned judgment, which had partially decreed a defamation suit in favor of the respondent, T.R. Baalu, awarding damages of Rs. 25 lakhs and an injunction concerning a publication dated December 22, 2013. Mr N Ramesh, appeared for the appellant, “Junior Vikatan”.
