Rasnam Foods, the owners of the popular Geetham chain of restaurants in Chennai have filed an appeal before the #MadrasHighCourt against a single judge’s order to pay the entire profits earned by them between June 1, 2022, and November 2, 2023 to the owners of the other popular Sangeetha chain of restaurants. Sangeetha Caterers and Consultants LLP too had already filed a separate appeal against the single judge’s order for having decreed its trademark infringement suit only partly and not fully. Geetham’s appeal has been listed before a Division Bench of Justices P. Velmurugan and K. Govindarajan Thilakavadi today. @THChennai Backgrounder👇
