The officer shall issue the refund within a period of eight (8) weeks from today after satisfying himself in regard to the quantum of refund as on the date of refund of application. Dr.Thomas moved the Highcourt to get releif and the case got stayed by the Highcourt. *Yesterday 3.11.2022* the final hearing for Quash came up before Honourable *Justice Dr. Jayachandran* , as item No.22 in the court hall 42.*(Crl.RC 890/2021,Crl.Op 4942/2019 & other 7 cases) Senior Counsul Mr.Manishankar argued* well for Dr. Thomas. After hearing the arguments the Justice reserved the orders.
