The office bearers of the Federation of the Bar Association of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry under leadership and guidance of Senior Advocate Mr S Prabakaran, Vice Chairman, Bar Council of India met the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Madras High Court to express the grievances of the members of the bar practicing at district courts regarding the e- filing mechanism that was to be adopted in the subordinate judiciary. It was the grievance of the bar that though the object was noble, as to make the court campus paperless, the lawyers had grievances over the process of e- filing as in few civil cases the bundles may be voluminous and the process of uploading becomes highly technical and inaccessible to the lawyers.
