UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
O R D E R
1. Application (IA No.286558/2025) for impleadment is allowed without prejudice to the rights of the parties in the original petition. Applicant is ordered to be impleaded as respondent no.2.
Cause title be amended accordingly.
2. Issue notice, returnable on 26.11.2025.
3. Mr. Eklavya Dwivedi, AOR, accepts notice on behalf of the

Election Commission of India (ECI).
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to hand over a complete set of paper-book to the learned counsel for the ECI.
5. Let the counter affidavit be filed within two weeks.
6. Since this Court is seized of the matter pertaining to validity of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls in various States, including Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry etc., we request the jurisdictional High Courts to keep in abeyance/defer the writ proceedings, if any, filed in those High Courts touching the validity of the SIR of electoral rolls in their respective States.
