[06/01, 21:41] Sekarreporter: S Prabakaran As the Vice Chairman Bar Council of India it is of immense joy and pleasure to state the much agitated mandatory e-filling system introduced in the District judiciary which was challenged before the Hon’ble Madras High Court today, wherein the Hon’ble Chief Justice was pleased to constituted a Special Committee consisting of Hon’ble Justice R Suresh Kumar , Hon’ble Justice Senthil Kumar Ramamoorthy, Hon’ble Justice C Kumarappan and Hon’ble Justice R Vijayakumar to deal with the representations and grievances with regard to the mandatory e filling system.
After extensive discussions with the Federation of Bar Association of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and with Madras High Court Advocates Association the Committee came to positive conclusion to keep the mandatory e-filling in District Judiciary in abeyance which was also conceded by Hon’ble Chief Justice.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Justice, Hon’ble Justice Suresh Kumar, Hon’ble Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, Hon’ble Justice C Kumarappan and Hon’ble Justice Vijay Kumar for their immediate action in resolving the much agitated issue and lending towards the grievances of the Bar bringing back harmony in the legal fraternity.
I also want to thank the Federation of Bar Association and the Madras High Court Advocates Association who worked alongside in bringing the grievances and difficulties faced by the members of the bar in the e-filling system before the Hon’ble High Court.
The Bar Council of TamilNadu and Puducherry, the Federation of Bar Association and the Madras High Court Association reiterate our gratitude and gratefulness towards the Hon’ble Chief Justice and the E-Filling committee for settling and smoothing things over and restoring harmony among the members of the Bar.
