    *“The Sacred Touch”*

“People who want to build institutions or follow good causes should have immense patience and perseverance in the face of odds. In the early days of the Vidyalaya, I have wept many times at night and cried to Sri Ramakrishna. “How long should I have to go on like this”. But yet with Faith in the Lord, public workers should, having in mind the words of Swami Vivekananda in his song of Sanyasin “ Let one put garlands on, another kick this frame: Say naught”, We should not, return hatred with hatred and Contempt with Contempt, but as the great Buddha has said, “Hatred never cease by hatreds, by love alone it ceases”. By sustained effort, earnestness, discipline and self-control, let the wiseman make himself a rock which no flood can overwhelm”.
