I read the order dated 23-10-25 passed by Mr.Justice K.K. Ramakrishnan condoning the enormous delay of 11923 days in filing Second Appeal by Govt.of Tamilnadu.
Honourable Judge had taken pain to go through number of Judgements cited by all parties as precedent and on deep consideration with profound thinking had written a convincing excellent judgment.
Though order was reserved on 1-7-25 ,pronounced on 23-10-25, the quite strenuous work done by him justifies the period taken for passing the order.
I must also appreciate AAG Mr.Ravindran who argued the matter and the courage of taking decision to file once again a Second Appeal when already Second Appeal being filed in the year 2005 remaining unnumbered.
I do not know what will be the view of Supreme Court, but my mind is supporting the order.
” It is better to be late than to be never “.
