Pugazhendi. Advocate R. Thirumoorthy argued for the writ petitioner. According to the petition, the case was not properly investigated, the incident was allegedly a murder rather than a mere accident, the car produced before the court was not the actual vehicle involved, and the investigation officer failed to properly examine the injured victims admitted in the hospital or include relevant documents in the charge sheet. The trial court’s judgment also shockingly mentioned the death of a child without any details about the child or the cause of death. Justice G. K. Ilanthiraiyan directed the petitioner to file an appropriate petition before the Principal Sessions Court, Tiruppur, where the appeal is pending, and seek the remedy of re-investigation.
