This year Kalakshetra has the unique privilege of celebrating constitution day with a talk session by Hon’ble Justice Shri. D.Y. Chandrachud, Sitting Judge of the Supreme Court who has most kindly agreed to elucidate and give insights on the topic “ Visualising the Constitution through artistic prisms – stories of aspiration and emancipation”. The various aspects of the constitution that are relevant to artists to make their art form sustainable, viable and widely acclaimed will be dealt and the Session will be extremely helpful revealing new aspects to artistic work, providing potential for inspiring innovation keeping intact the rich resources of our ancient wisdom & retaining “ the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation”. The key questions of who, how, what, where, when and why of the fundamental rights of artistic practices will be elaborated.

This rare privilege is open to all and in particular to performing artists, art students and students of Law.
