Justice G.K. Ilanthiraiyan of #MadrasHighCourt adjourns to July 7, 2026 a couple of petitions filed by political commentator V. Ponraj to quash two FIRs registered against him for having spoken ill about women supporters of TVK. Judge also extends till then an interim order directing the police not to file the final reports in both the cases. Government counsel says, the two quash petitions may not fall under the MP/MLA portfolio since the accused was neither an MP nor an MLA. He says only one of the complainants (Law Minister R.
