[3/1, 16:06] Sekarreporter1: Justice N. Anand Venkatesh of Madras HC to monitor investigation to be conducted by CB-CID into allegations of a special DGP having subjected a woman SP to sexual harassment. Orders that the issue must not be politicised and media must not disclose victim’s name
[3/1, 16:06] Sekarreporter1: TN police informs the judge that there was absolutely no delay in registering FIR against a special DGP accused of sexual harassment. DGP (L&O) received complaint on Feb 26 & forwarded it to CB-CID on same day. FIR was booked on Feb 27.
[3/1, 16:07] Sekarreporter1: Police also tells the judge that initially Additional Superintendent of Police Gowri was appointed as an investigating officer. Now, the case has been shifted to Superintendent of Police Mutharasi.
