Judge Suthantheram: Dear Rupert  Your question ‘why Adhoc Judges?’ Supreme Court in a case observed that process of appointing judges takes long time and heavily cases are pending in the High Courts and requires High Court to appoint adhoc judges. It is suggested recently retired judges and in exceptional cases others to be nominated as Adhoc Judges.
