Basha was sitting on bail and anticipatory bail portfolio, there came an intense boycott for a day. But client was from a very respectable family. Went to the chambers to plead for an adjournment in advance. KNBJ said ” don’t worry. Write legal points and ask your client to read it in court. Things will be taken care.” Client did not even complete reading. AB granted with “issue order copy tomorrow”. The client was not only grateful to God but he developed high respect for such humanness of our hon ble judges. Again, while sitting on service portfolio, KBNJ would not allow transfers of class d emplooyees. He would ask govt pleaders. Do u know his nature of work; carrying files from one to another table, cleaning room of his boss, fetching water etc. If ur officers out of ego or anymosity transfer him 60/100 miles away, who will pay for his too and fro and how his family would meet it? KNBJ ‘dsay ” either recall that order or inwill pass an order”. In one week final disposal was seen. Such was his most humane and practical approach. No wonder KNBJ was called “Darling of the Bar”.
