[23/10, 13:32] Sekarreporter: A petition filed by Thiru.Veeramuthu, Dist.Secretary of BJP Madurai Nagar, in CRL.OP.(MD).No.18462 of 2025, seeking anticipatory bail in Unknown crime number (complaint lodged by One Siruthai Kani from Viduthalai Siruthai Party), was listed today I.e., 23.09.2025, for admission as item No.63 before Court Hall No.9. After hearing elaborate arguments, the Hon’ble Madurai Bench had directed the Police authorities, “NOT to ARREST” the petitioner Veeramuthu, until final orders. Further, The Court directed the Commissioner of Police to file a status report as to why FIR not registered till date against Siruthai Kani, based on the complaint Lodged by Madurai City BJP legal wing.
