Subject: Request to formally invite the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and present an Award of Commemoration – Regarding

Respected Sir,
I, RC Paul Kanagaraj, Advocate, with over 35 years of standing at the Bar, and a member of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. On behalf of the Bar Council, and in representation of the welfare and interests of the Advocates of Tamil Nadu, I humbly submit this proposal for your kind consideration.
It is my respectful suggestion that the Bar Council may extend a formal invitation to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, to grace the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu as the esteemed Chief Guest. Further, I propose that a special Award of Commemoration—rooted in Tamil culture and heritage—be presented to the Hon’ble Prime Minister in recognition of his immense contributions and indisputable achievements for our nation.
This proposal is not made from a political standpoint, but rather to acknowledge his stature as a guardian of our nation’s interests in the international arena, and as a leader who has consistently safeguarded India’s position in global affairs.
Moreover, inviting the Hon’ble Prime Minister to Tamil Nadu, particularly to the prestigious Madras High Court, would not only bring great honour to the legal fraternity, but also open avenues for meaningful developmental reforms for the welfare of Advocates. It may also provide an opportunity to seek corpus funds from the Union Government towards the benefit and upliftment of the legal community in Tamil Nadu.
Such an event would indeed mark a historic milestone and remain etched in the annals of the Bar Council for generations to come.

In light of the above, I most respectfully request your good offices to kindly consider this proposal and take necessary steps to invite the Hon’ble Prime Minister, while also presenting him with a Tamil-based award highlighting the rich culture and heritage of our State.
