Sub: Courts and Judges — District Judges — Transfer and Postings Notification issued – Joining instructions issued.
Ref: High Court’s Notification No. 205 / 2025, dated : 07.10.2025.

The District Judges, who have been transferred and posted, vide High Court’s Notification cited above, are required to hand over charge of their respective present posts and also full additional charge of the posts, if any, held by them to any of the nearest District Judge / Additional District Judge / Additional District Judge (Fast Track Court) / XXIII Additional Judge (Designated Additional Commercial Court), City Civil Court, Chennai / Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, as the case may be, immediately, and take charge of their respective new posts, within the joining time as prescribed under relevant Rules.
The Officers, who relieve the Officers under transfer, are required to hold full additional charge of their respective additional posts, and incharge posts, if any, held by them, till successor takes charge / until further orders, as the case may be.
