Mr P. Wilson submitted that the government offer to pay fees in private Medical colleges was made on 20.11.2020 and the Petitioners were called for counselling on 18/19th of November and due to allotment in Private medical colleges and fees of 7-8 lakhs were asked to pay, the candidates were not in a position to pay the fees and hence were kept in waiting list. He submitted that the offer should be made retrospective and applied to petitioner and similarly placed candidates.

[12/2, 14:31] Sekarreporter1: AG assures the court that Govt will work out seats for petitioners and candidates similarly placed coming under 7.5 % quota who have been kept in waiting list for not taking private medical colleges seats for non payment of the fees after concluding second counselling in All India Quota . He also informed that more seats are likely to come from private medical colleges.
