Totally six accused, the petitioners A-1 to A6 (police personal ) date of remand 7.5.2022. The case was registered 176 Cr.p.c, after statement of witness jollu suresh, the section was altered into sec 302 ipc and sec 3(2)(v) SC/ST act.
the petitioners in discriminately beaten, the vigesh and suresh@ jollu suresh by using PVC Pipe and Stainless Stell Rod at G-5, Secretariat Colony Police station during the police custody. Thereby the vignesh sustained injuries and died on 19.04.2022. Earlier petition dismissed in this hon’ble Court Thereafter the A1 to A6 field criminal appeal hon’ble High court, the petition was withdrawn. Investigation is pending.
Till saturday the charge sheet was not filed and prosecution argued that the court may consider the gravity offence, however the learned principle seasions judge pleased to reject the argument and granted bail under section 167(2) cr.pc to all the police person’s.
