Justices G.R. Swaminathan and V. Lakshminarayanan of #MadrasHighCourt have summoned Greater Chennai former Commissioner of Police A. Arun to the court on May 27, 2026 for having invoked the Goondas Act against a real estate developer who had a dispute with DMDK Rajya Sabha member L.K. Sudhish and his wife S. Poornajothi. Judges said, the detention order shocks their conscience. Another case related to the Goondas detention order issued against Savukku Shankar has been simply adjourned to tomorrow @THChennai
