  1. Mortgagor in possession of property is not liable to mortgagee for allowing property to deteriorate, but should avoid acts which is destructive or permanently injurious so as to render security insufficient
  2. Mortgagee has when mortgage money becomes due or before decree for foreclosure, a right to redeem mortgaged property
  3. Mortgagee by conditional sale is not authorised under this section to institute suit for foreclosure or usufructory mortgagee to institute suit for sale
  4. Section 67 does not permit Mortgagee having interest in part only to institute a suit for corresponding part of mortgaged property, unless mortgagee with the consent of mortgagor served interest under mortgage
  5. Mortgagee holding two or more mortgages by the same mortgagor , is bound to sue on all mortgages in respect to mortgage money that has become due
