ORDER
The impugned suspension order dated 17.06.2026, has been issued for the petitioner, having filed the FIR against one Rajalakshmi. The documents that have now been produced before this Court would show that the FIR itself has been lodged only on the directions of the Directorate of Vigilance who in his memorandum dated 06.01.2026 has approved the Vigilance report submitted by the petitioner and instructed her to prepare a draft FIR against Tmt.K.Rajalakshmi, Inspector of Police, Anti Vice Squad, ITP-1, Office of the Commissioner of Police, Egmore, Chennai – 600 008. Thereafter, the petitioner has forwarded the draft FIR for the approval of the Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption. Thereafter, on 12.02.2026, the Superintendent of Police, Vigilance and Anti Corruption who had gone through the draft FIR and has found that the FIR is with some corrections and it is only thereafter, the FIR has been lodged.
2. This Court is of the prima facie view that the impugned suspension order is motivated. Therefore, it shall be stayed till 09.07.2026.
