W ich Court Legal Services Conmnittee(EICLSC). District Legal Services Authorities(DLSAs) and Ta]uk Legal Services Conunittees(TLSCs). in all the court connple,xes and the judicial officers• residential quarters. between 10.082026(Monday) and
1 5.08.2026(Saturday). and that the progrannnne is intended not only to ilnprove the environnnental an) bience of judicial establishnnent. but also to create awareness alnong stakeholders regarding environnoental conservation. which fornos an integral part of access to j ustice — the core principle of the Legal Services Institutions.
‘I’he Services Institutions. viz. MCI-SC at the Principal Seat and the Madurai Bench. the L)LSAs and the lLSCs, are nnaking arrangenwnts to organise the plantation in coordination with the State (Governnnent departments. viz. Forest. Agriculture and Horticulture. and suitable indigenous and clilnate-resilient tree species will be planted in the available open spaces at the court connple.xes and the judicial officers’ residential quarters.
TNSLSA has requested the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Tamil Nadu Forests
Secretary. I liuh Court Legal Services Comnnittee and the Registrar(Adn1inistration) at the Principal
Seat of the High Court of Madras at Chennai: the Registrar Judicial/Officer-in-charge. H igh Court Legal Services Conmnittee at the Vladurai Bench of the Madras High Court; and the Chairnnen of the District Legal Services Authorities(Principal District Judges) of the 38 districts. For providing support and assistance (Or organ ising the tree sapling plantation program noe.
