ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 15.08.2025 seeking for issuance of free house site patta in his favour for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.97, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 21.02.2025; and Resolution dated 30.05.2008 passed by the second respondent.
2. The petitioner claims that as per the aforesaid GO and Resolution, he is entitled for issuance of free house site patta for the subject property. He has submitted a representation dated 15.08.2025 for the said purpose. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner’s representation dated 15.08.2025 is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner’s representation dated 15.08.2025 seeking for issuance of free house site patta in his favour for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to G.O.Ms.No.97,
Revenue and Disaster Management Department, dated 21.02.2025, and Resolution dated 30.05.2008 passed by the second respondent, which is filed filed along with this writ petition, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
