Savuku sanker case Justices P. Velmurugan & M. Jothiraman of #MadrasHighCourt

Justices P. Velmurugan & M. Jothiraman of #MadrasHighCourt to hear today a petition filed by Savukku Shankar to include him as a party to a writ petition and a habeas corpus petition filed by his mother when he was in prison in December last. He has also filed a review petition urging the Bench to modify some of the additional interim bail conditions imposed on him by the Bench on January 23. He has urged the court to modify the condition requiring him to appear before a medical board at the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai and instead permit him to appear before a medical board in any Central Government hospital. He also urged the court to modify the condition which prevents him from contacting, interacting or communicating with the co-accused and imposes a curb on his freedom of movement.
