Today (29.1.2023), under the leadership of Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu- DMK President , a meeting of the Members of the Lok Sabha – Rajya Sabha belonging to DMK party was held at the Anna Arivalayam in Chennai.
In this meeting, Mr MK Stalin after holding discussions with Member of Parliament has advised the Members of Parliament to take up and concrete discussions in the Parliament during budget sessions and to raise up issues relating to Tamilnadu and in particular amounts and schemes that is due and pending for implementation with Union Government with regards to Tamilnadu Government.
It was also decided to raise the following issues in ensuing Budget Parliamentary Session 2023:-
– the controversy over the banning of “2002 Gujarat violence “ documentary released by the BBC
– the report on the losses incurred by the Adani Group in the Indian stock market
-an attempt made by BJP to change the basic characteristics of the constitution which could be seen from unnecessary comments made by certain sections including the Vice President of India ;
-Similarly, regarding the status of letters written by the Government of Tamil Nadu to the Union Government and in particular:-

* Getting the President’s assent to the Bill to exempt NEET;
* The Sri Lankan government attacks and arrests of Tamil fishermen, the illegal acts of Sri Lankan army seizing and confiscating the indian fishermen boats;
* Stopping of Matriculation Scholarships for Minority Students from 1st to 8th Class;
* Declaration of Madurai Airport as International Airport;
* Establishment of AIIMS Hospital in Madurai;
* Execution of Sethu Samudra Project;
* Getting vaccinations against rabies in livestock;
* Providing employment opportunities to the youths of Tamil Nadu in Union Government offices and Union Government PSUs in Tamil Nadu;
* NLC neglect of Tamils ​​in employment;
* sharing of power in the government by Tamil’s in Srilanka
* It is advised to raise all other important issues echoing india
