To augment the concatenation of virtual sessions being organised by Beyond Law-CLC in collaboration with UILS, Panjab University, Hon’ble Justice Mr. S. Nagamuthu, Former Judge of Madras High Court now Senior Advocate will be dissecting the law relating to ‘Appreciation of Evidence- Criminal Law’. The legal stalwart, often likened to Lord Alfred Denning has in his illustrious career disposed off 84,867 cases in his tenure as a judge of the Madras High Court since 22nd March 2007 and is considered to be master of all branches of law and a man of virtues.
The legal daemon shall be expounding various facets relating to appreciation of evidence mainly including credibility of evidence, weightage to be accorded to evidence, substantive evidence, corroborative evidence and lastly rule of prudence.
The session is scheduled to be conducted via Zoom on 18th May, 2020 at 6 pm. The registration shall open at 5:15 pm. The Zoom meeting id and password have been provided for in the accompanying invite.
