J.Deepa challenged the recovery notice issued by the Income Tax Department that late J.Jayalalitha was in arrears for a sum of Rs 36 crores and if the amount is not paid proceedings will be taken for auctioning the attached properties. J Deepa contended that details of arrears is not given and credit was not given for the appeal cases allowed infavour of J.Jayalalitha. Tax Recovery officer issued a revised demand for a sum of Rs.13.69 crores and in view of the revised demand, Hon`ble Mr Justice C.Saravanan dismissed the writ petition as infructuous.
