My attention has been drawn to a letter dated 26 July, 2025 circulated on social media issued under the signature of Mr. Justice K. Chandru, Former Judge, High Court, Madras purporting to be issued on behalf of 7 other former judges of the Madras High Court including myself. The letter states that a “written confirmation” has been sent by all the judges to Mr. Justice K. Chandru.
I make it clear that I was not consulted nor have I sent any such “written confirmation” authorizing Mr. Justice K. Chandru to issue the said letter. 1, therefore, dissociate myself from the contents of the said letter.
