JUDGMENT

After arguing the appeal for some length, learned counsel for the appellants, on instructions, did not press the appeal for the reason that
this Court was inclined to extend the time for compliance of the judgment and, accordingly, the non-appellant/writ petitioner shall report for work before the second appellant/The General Manager, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Vellore on 01.04.2022 as against 01.10.2021 stipulated by the learned Single Judge. The second appellant is directed to accept the joining of the nonappellant/writ petitioner and, accordingly, the non-appellant/writ
petitioner would be assigned work.
2. The non-appellant/writ petitioner would be entitled to the benefits as given by the learned Single Judge, however, without the entitlement of the actual monetary benefits for the intervening period. In case of non-compliance, the non-appellant/writ petitioner would be at liberty to take the legal recourse as available to him, which includes
filing of the contempt petition.
3. With the aforesaid modification, the finding on merit is not interfered. However, the appeal is disposed of with the aforesaid. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.4344 of 2022 is closed.
