Former judge Karnan case today order

Today the Honble high court assembled by 2:15 for the special hearing of a sensitive case filed by the bar council of tamilnadu and Puducherry against the inaction of the law enforcing agencies, it was vociferously argued that though very many complaints were lodged against the illegal act, the law enforcing agency were keeping quiet and failed to prevent the continuing illegality of uploading obscene videos by the former judge karnan. The director general and police and commissioner of police were present before the division bench. The advocate general Shri. Vijay Narayan was representing the police authorities and made submissions that appropriate action will be taken by the police. The honble division bench has passed the following directions:
1. It should be reported that what action has been taken on the complaint of the bar council.
2. To investigate the illegal elements behind the entire act.
3. Report the same by filling a status report on the next hearing on 22.01.2021.
