ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon’ble Chief Justice)
Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, referring to various orders placed before this Court, would submit that the operation of a TASMAC liquor shop just in front of National Zoological Park at Vandalur results in accumulation of waste products and therefore, it should be treated as hazardous activity in relation to the area in the near proximity of the National Zoological Park.
2. He also submits that earlier also a Division Bench of this Court in its order dated 03.07.2024 had requested the Government to revisit the policy of liquor for the welfare of the people, especially the younger generation, as they would be the pillars of tomorrow’s society.
3.
