COMMON ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon’ble Chief Justice)
The writ petitions have been filed to seek a direction on the first
respondent to remove the encroachment made by the third
respondent. It is informed by counsel for the respective parties that the matter is pending consideration before the District Collector, and for that reference to R.C.No.A3/1068/2021 dated 05.01.2022 has been made. Respondents 2 and 3 have been called upon to provide details of the Government order regarding milk cooling stations
constructed on the Government poromboke land.
In the light of the aforesaid, the writ petitions are disposed of by
directing the District Collector, Tiruvannamalai, to expedite the proceedings and conclude the same at the earliest, so that if any encroachment is found, necessary action may be taken, and if the result of the inquiry shows no encroachment, then respondents 2 and 3 can maintain the construction. In the proceeding, if the petitioner wishes, he can also participate, and the District Collector is directed to
give such permission. There will be no order as to costs.
