[29/07, 14:10] sekarreporter1: Mr. Narayan says, Supreme Court has set aside the interim stay ordered by the Madras High Court on the operation of the laws passed by the State legislature empowering the State government, instead of the Chancellor (Governor) to appoint vice-chancellors to State universities. Therefore, as on date, the laws are in operation and hence, the State government must be allowed to appoint vice-chancellors.
