Justice Kant: elections were not being held. BCI wants to hold, they are cooperative. Let it be held.

Order: As regard to the state of UP, the elections are likely to be notified very soon. BCI Chairman assures that elections for UP will be conducted by 31st Jan, 2026 wherever there are objections regarding voter list the same may be examined without prejudice to the rights of the parties to approach election tribunal.

Counsel: let voter list be published on website.

Justice Kant: that they will do. Let us have trust and faith in the system.

Counsel: Allahabad has Magh mela. It’s a genuine problem. It may be done in February.

Justice Kant: if we start entertaining local festivals in every state something will be there. Let the process begin then we will see.
