While his Lordship K. Venkatraman sitting in CRP, as junior advocate, hardly 1 year experience, i represented for getting adjournment, as my senior asked. Since it was around 4pm and about ring bell at 4.30pm.
I represented before him that my matter may take more than 30 minutes, so it may adjourn to some other day.
His Lordship, with smile, asked how many books i have in my hand to read, I said one consumer act(bare act). Again he asked me how many pages that book has. I said 40 pages. He, with his own unwound language, asked me having 40 pages book u need to argue more than 30 minutes? Asked me to open the bundle. After reading revision petition, he dismissed my petition with liberty. It was witnessed by many lawyers and laughed for my conversation with judge. It happened in the year 2007, in the present court hall no.23. Still i laugh myself, whenever I remember this.
