[30/04, 15:50] sekarreporter1: #JanaNayagan leak case: Justice G.K. Ilanthiraiyan of #MadrasHighCourt dismisses an anticipatory bail petition filed by D. Uma Shankar of Tiruverkadu in Tiruvallur district. The petitioner’s counsel R.C. Paul Kanagaraj said, the petitioner is working as a purchase manager in Pothys textile showroom and he has nothing to do with the leak. However, Additional Public Prosecutor K.M.D. Muhilan brought it to the notice of the court that the petitioner is the colleague of a freelance editor’s brother (A2) who was a driver in Pothys. The APP said, the freelance editor Prashanth (A1) had stolen the movie from in a harddrive from an editing suite in Chennai and shared it with many others and it had got passed on to the petitioner who had been arrayed as A3 in the case for having compressed the file size and transferred it to his mobile phone before forwarding it to others. @THChennai Backgrounder👇
