[21/11, 10:59] Niranjan ss: Today a Writ petition filed by Thiru Manikandan, Sellur Mandal President of BJP, praying for a Mandamus to forbear the Madurai District administration as well as the Madurai Corporation from proceeding with the Installation of the composite plant under the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) 2.0, at Thathaneri Grave yard, and to shift it to the outskirts of Madurai Corporation, came up for admission today before the Hon’ble Madurai Bench of Madraa High Court. Her Lordships Mrs.Justice Anitha Sumanth and His Lordship Mr. Justice Kumarappan had ordered Notice and directed the Standing Counsel for the Madurai Corporation Mr.K.K.Kannan to file his counter affidavit by 8.12.2025 and had posted the matter on the said date for further hearing.
