The impugned order of the fourth respondent in Na.ka.No.A3/02600/2020 dated 09.04.2020 is hereby set aside and the respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner for his appointment to the post of Grade-II Police Constable, Jail Warder and Fireman in the appropriate post as per his rank and eligibility without reference to the involvement of the petitioner in the criminal case as indicated in the impugned proceedings, if he is otherwise fit in all other respects. The authorities are directed to pass appropriate orders in compliance with the above direction within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
