Anbanantham to withdraw his anticipatory bail petition in a case booked under the Indecent Represention of Women (Prohibition) Act and other laws for his derogatory Instagram post against Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and a film actress besides making references to the CM’s wife and son too in the post. He chose to withdraw the petition after the Judge said he is not inclined to grant advance bail because the Instagram post “affects the conscience of the society.
