  In fine, we uphold the finding of the writ Court to the effect that Shri-la-Shri Mahalinga Pandara Sannithi has abdicated his position as 28th Adheenakarthar of the Sivagrahayogi Swami Math, Shri Suriyanar Kovil Adheenam, and set aside the direction of the Writ Court to the HR & CE authorities to institute a suit under Section 59 of the Act. Needless to say O.S.No.255 of 2024 will proceed in accordance with law. W.A(MD)No.2929 of 2025 is dismissed and W.A(MD)No.2697 of 2025 is allowed.
