[6/15, 20:24] Sekarreporter1: Today Thiru M Palaniappan DMK candidate for 179 Viralimalai Constituency , Pudukottai District filed Election Petition through M/s P. Wilson Associates before Madras High Court challenging the election of Thiru C Vijayabasker who is the returned AIADMK Candidate of 179 Viralimalai constituency, Pudukottai District on various grounds including ground of corrupt practices of bribing the voters with gift, payment of illegal gratification etc to garner votes,incurring Excess Expenditure amounting to corrupt practise, taking the assistance of Government servants, tampering with control units in the Strong room with the help of Returning officer and on other grounds. The Petitioner has sought for declaring the election of Thiru C Vijayabasker, returned AIADMK candidate, as void and for a consequential declaration to declare that the Petitioner is duly elected candidate for 179 Viralimalai constituency, Pudukottai District.
