Says, the concern is when IPS get additional pay for engaging residential assistants but end up engaging large number of trained policemen as orderlies.

[8/18, 11:00] Sekarreporter1: Justice SM Subramaniam of Madras High Court begins hearing a case for abolition of the colonial orderly system in the TN police department. Additional Advocate General P Kumaresan apprises the judge of steps taken so far to take back the orderlies.
