P. Wilson appearing for 3rd Respondent Bhuvanesh Kumar who is impleaded as per orders of Supreme Court submitted that about 110 grounds worth more than 500 crore value of property has been given in golden platters by District collector in charge in the last dispensation who was not competent to decide on title .
The principal secretary rightly in exercise of his suomutto revision powers has stayed the order and issued show cause notice to writ petitioner. The government has already taken vast land from other side of cathedral road and developed semmozhi poonga and therefore the writ challenging show cause notice deserves to be dismissed and petitioner has no title over government properties. Mr Wilson said Agri Horticultural society has no right or title to hold over the property .
The petitioner sought time to argue the case and Hon’ble justice N Anand Venkatesh has posted the matter to 7.9.2022 for arguments
