3. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, a member of a society viz, Kumara Rajah Muthiah School of Traditional Arts and Crafts, has lodged a complaint dated 26.05.2026 against one Raja Karuppan Chetty @ Karuppiah and his cohorts, before the respondent seeking investigation into large-scale criminal conspiracy, suspicious death, forgery, cheating, criminal breach of trust, fabrication of records, unlawful control of trusts/societies and accumulation of disproportionate assets of the Trust and Society. He further submitted that this Court, vide order dated 14.05.2026, in O.A.Nos.455 & 456 of 2026, granted an interim injunction restraining respondents 9 and 21 therein from interfering with the functioning of the society and appointed an interim Administrator for the Society. However, respondents 9 to 43 therein are continuing to interfere and trying to control the affairs of society in gross disregard to the direction of this Court, adversely affecting the interest of the above society. Consequently, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent on 26.05.2026. Since no immediate action has been taken, the present complaint has been filed.
