PRESS RELEASE The Bar Council of Tamilnadu & Puducherry has resolved to provide financial assistance of Rs.4,000/- each advocate due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.M. Sundresh, Judge, Madras High Court has kindly consented to handover the cheques with the respective Presidents/Secretaries of the Chennai Distirct Bar/Advocates Associations in the presence of Hon’ble Mr. Justice N. Kirubakaran, Judge, Madras High Court and office bearers and Members of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry on Monday the 18th May, 2020 at 1-30 P.M. in the Bar Council Premises. In Madurai, Hon’ble Mr. Justice P.N. Prakash, Administrative Judge, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has kindly consented to handover the cheques with the respective Presidents/Secretaries of Madurai District Bar/Advocates Associations in the presence of Mr. B.
