Today 12.10.2020 International Idol Smuggler Subash Chandra Kapoor Bail petition came up before Lordship Justice G K ilantharaiayan at Madurai Bench of Madras High Court. State was represented by State PP A.Natarajan. State PP Vehemently objected the bail petition and informed the court that smuggler subash Chandra Kapoor is a US citizen and internation criminal who had stolen various prestigious idols belonging to Chola Period. State PP also informed that the accused subash Chandra Kapoor went absconding for years and only with the help of Interpol he was secured by the German police and later on extradited to Indian. Indian government had given an undertaking to the German government that the subash Chandra Kapoor will be surrendered back to german police after his jail term is over. After hearing the arguments justice ilantharaiyan had accepted the argument of state PP and dismissed the bail petition of the accused subash Chandra Kapoor.
