[30/11, 11:30] Sekarreporter: On the complaint of ED, Delhi Police registers case against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Suman Dubey, Sam Pitroda and others for alleged fraud and cheating of National Herald funds.

Earlier ED had initiated investigation based on a private complaint of Subramanian Swamy, (which was legally weak), to strengthen its case, ED filed a complaint with Delhi Police under Sec 66(2) of PMLA, and based on the said complaint, Delhi Police has filed the FIR.

P.S: PMLA was amended in 2018 through Finance Act for National Herald case to take cognisance of private complaints.
