[7/10, 15:19] sekarreporter1: The Writ Petition filed by one KK Ramesh Advocate before Supreme Court challenging construction of Pen Memorial for late kalaignar came up for hearing before the bench comprising of Hon’bleChief Justice of India and Hon’ble Mr Justice PS Narasimha The bench after hearing arguments Jaya Sukin for petitioner and of P. Wilson senior advocate appearing for Tamilandu Government dismissed the writ petition as devoid of merits. The writ petitioner in his petition wanted the court to restrain construction in all coastal states especially pen memorial due to raising sea level and in his grounds of writ petition sought to exhume the mortal remains of Anna, MGR , Jayalalithaa and Kalaignar laid to rest at Marina and wanted to be shifted to other places and to restrain the TN Government using of Marina for future burials.
